What Biblical Promises Are Specifically Linked to Rhema, God's Spoken Word?

Rhema means: “spoken word”. We are to live from God's spoken words to us. Rhema is God's Fountain of Living Waters (Jer. 2:13), His River that flows from His throne, through our hearts and out into every faculty we yield to His flow. Rhema precipates the release of God's anointing.

Twelve awesome benefits concerning God’s voice/rhema (Gal. 5:25)

1. Designed to live from God’s voice: 'MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE, BUT ON EVERY WORD (rhema) THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD.'" (Matt. 4:4) 
2. God’s voice releases success: "Master, we worked hard all night and caught nothing, but I will do as You say (rhema) and let down the nets." (Lk. 5:5) 
3. Speak God’s rhema: "For He whom God has sent speaks the words (rhema) of God; for He gives the Spirit without measure. (Jn. 3:34) 
4. God’s voice releases Spirit life: "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words (rhema) that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life. (Jn. 6:63)
5. We do hear God's voice: (i.e., when they tune to the flow within Jn. 7:37-39): "He who is of God hears the words (rhema) of God. (Jn. 8:47)
6. The Father spoke from within Jesus: The words (rhema) that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works. (Jn. 14:10) 
7. A miracle-filled lifestyle comes by living out of God’s voice: "If you abide in Me, and My words (rhema) abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. (Jn. 15:7)
8. Hearing God's voice is NOT hard: "THE WORD (rhema) IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART." (Rom. 10:8)
9. God's voice inflames faith: Faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word (rhema) of Christ. (Rom. 10:17)
10. We use God's voice in fighting the enemy: The sword of the Spirit, which is the word (rhema) of God. (Eph 6:17)
11. God's voice holds everything together: Jesus upholds all things by the word (rhema) of His power. (Heb. 1:3) 
12. God’s voice created the world: Worlds were prepared by the word (rhema) of God (Heb. 11:3)

The promise concerning the power of God’s spoken words

• "For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it. (Isa. 55:10-11)
• Then the LORD said to me, "You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it." (Jer. 1:12)

It shines brighter and brighter as we walk His highway of holiness

• But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, That shines brighter and brighter until the full day. My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your sight; Keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life to those who find them and health to all their body. Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life. (Prov. 4:18-23)
• We have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts. (2 Pet. 1:19)

Personal Journaling Application

Hearing God's voice is as simple as: 1) quieting myself down (Ps. 62:5), 2) beholding Jesus at my right hand (Acts 2:25), 3) asking for His input and tuning in to flowing thoughts and flowing pictures (Jn. 7:37-39), and 4) journaling out His words and visions (Rev. 1:9-11). These are then tested, and they must line up with Scripture (Ps. 1:2) and be affirmed in the hearts of my spiritual advisors (2 Cor. 13:1).
