What Affect Does Sin Have? Two-Way Journaling

Below is some outstanding journaling concerning the role of the law and grace, sin and Christ's cleansing blood, and how all this affects our relationship with the Lord. Does God withdraw Himself when we have sin? Do I need to confess my sin since it was all dealt with by Christ's blood on Calvary? Get some wonderful answers from the heart of the Lord. Good morning Lord. I'm confused about many of the things I read in that book yesterday. Some of it accords with what I now know is the truth, others challenge things I've believed for years. But I sense there is also truth in them. What do You want to say about these things? How am I to present and teach them today?

"I have told you before that there is nothing you will ever do that could separate us, or make Me reject you or turn away from you. Is what you read different from that? I died for you. My death covered every sin you committed or can ever commit. I died once to put away sin. This was enough. I do not need to die again for sin, and neither do you need to die on account of the things you do, or fail to do. Death is not breath leaving you, but separation from Me. You cannot die anymore. You are in Me and I am in you. We are joined together. I cannot die, neither can you.

"Sin is no longer a factor in our relationship. The price I paid has forever dealt with that. Sin does not hinder your access to Me. It does not disrupt our communion. Adam sinned, but I still came to talk with him. Cain sinned but we still talked. Noah had the seed of sin, the nature of sin, in him but I communed with him still and saved him from certain death.

"Sin doesn't count anymore between us. But it counts where the enemy is concerned. It gives him access into your life. It puts you in a place where he exercises dominion over your body, your soul. But not your spirit. Your spirit is joined to Me. The enemy never has access to your spirit. He cannot endure the light in your spirit. My light. Your spirit is sealed by My Spirit. No sin can enter your spirit. You are pure gold in your spirit. You are silver 7 times refined in your spirit. 

"Think about it. You love your son. Would you send him to a place of eternal punishment because he did one wrong thing? Especially if you had already suffered the penalty for that wrong thing? You are all My children. None of you will go to hell. The only people that will go to hell are those who choose not to accept the pardon I secured for them by My death. Sin will not take anyone to hell. Choice will. Sin has been forever taken care of. It has been dealt with. 

"Indeed, I ask you to seek My forgiveness for your sins even though I have already forgiven them. I ask you to confess them and I will forgive them and cleanse you of all unrighteousness. This is not because sin can take you to hell or come between us, but to prevent the enemy from taking advantage of you. Sin has the capacity to affect your thinking. And as you think, so you become. As you think, so you say and do. As you say, and do, so the enemy is given permission to do his will in your life. Confession shuts that door. It brings you into agreement with Me. It presents My blood, My sacrifice to the accusation of the enemy and shuts the door on him. But sin can never cut you off from Me.

"Sin, as I define it, is both the things you do and those you fail to do. There are many things I have asked you to do which you have not done. Has it ever affected our communion? Have the things which you failed to do (and you know them well) ever stopped you from hearing My voice when you tune to flow? No, and it will not. Yes, I am too holy to behold iniquity but I deal and relate with you by, and in, your spirit. Your spirit is pure, holy and beautiful. It always is. Your body is not so, which is why you will eventually leave it behind and I will give you a new body which fits your spirit.

"My people have long laboured under a lie. I desire to liberate them. The Gospel is supposed to be good news, but what is good about the rules and regulations which they are taught that they must keep in order to be accepted by Me? It is impossible for any man to live by law, either Old or New Testament. I designed the law to bring men to grace, to bring them to the point where they realise that they cannot satisfy Me by their works and they begin to trust in My grace.

"But they are still trying to satisfy Me by their works! New Testament works, but works nevertheless. Because My servants continue to teach them so. In this new covenant, there is only one law. Love. Love Me. When you love Me, you will begin to love people without effort. When you love Me, you will obey My commandments without effort. You don't love Me by obeying My commandments. You obey My commandments when you love Me.

"The change must begin. It has begun. Meditate on these things. Give yourself wholly to them. Apply these truths to your thought patterns. As for tonight, just do an introduction. Strike a match. Show them the path to discover this for themselves. It is easier for a man to accept and assimilate a self-discovered truth. He is less likely to resist it.

"I say so because what I have told you, what you have read, goes against centuries-old teachings within My body. If you release these truths at once, their religious spirits will reject them. The same way it was rejected when I spoke them into the world, and when My first disciples taught and proclaimed them.

"Even you, were it not for the foundations I have laid in your life before this time, would have struggled to accept these truths. You would have rejected them. So, it is a gradual process. Precept must be upon precept. My people must first encounter My love before they can be free of sin-consciousness. One candle lights another."
