We received a letter from one of our students who is an inmate at a state correctional center. The Lord has given him a vision to reach every inmate in his facility with the love of Christ during the month of July. Please join us in standing with him in prayer and intercession for a mighty harvest. Here is his letter...
Dear Body of Christ,
Grace and peace through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is our great privilege to extend an opportunity to share in the great and marvelous works our God is performing here at J.C.S. (I Cor. 4:8).
God’s church at J.C.S. is growing. He has cast a vision for His body as well as the lost at J.C.S. Approximately 320 men attend service, leaving 1400 men who do not. His vision for the body is found in Eph. 4:11-16, where every part is useful for increase and edification, in love. His vision for the compound is found in the Great Commission, which our Lord has made very personal for us.
We have an evangelistic team on the yard spreading the Gospel five days a week. There has been much fruit, but God wants to do more. The Lord planted a vision for His evangelists:
Hold a 30-day “God loves YOU!” campaign: Every man on this compound will hear that God loves him, every day for 30 days straight.
The walls of Jericho fell after the priests performed the Word of the Lord as He spoke it (Joshua 6:1-20). After 30 days of speaking to each man, every day, of God’s unfailing love, the walls in their hearts will also fall.
Day 1: Give each man a piece of candy, a Bible tract, a Prayer Request slip, a service sign-up slip and a verse on paper signed, “God loves YOU!”
Days 2 – 30: Give each man a verse on paper signed, “God loves YOU!”
Days 8, 16 and 24: Give each man a verse, a candy and a prayer slip
Last day: Give each man a verse and a Bible tract designed to show the difference between all other religions and Jesus Christ, the only Way to eternal life.
His vision is large. Evangelism will occur daily and hundreds will be saved. Stand with us and pray the Word for free course, we have boldness and courage, that nothing hinders, that hearts are softened, for laborers to enter the harvest, for safety, and for favor.

There is also an opportunity to pledge to send Bibles if necessary. Some Bibles are already on hand. However, when hundreds more join God’s kingdom they will be seeking Bibles.
