Jude verse 11 came to life this morning. “Woe to them! For they go the way of Cain and abandon themselves to Balaam’s error for the sake of gain and perish in Korah’s rebellion.”
The dream
As I begin to quiet down, I’m taken back to a dream I had previously where I was in a dark alley, a dead end with 3 stories of rooms and doors facing me. Creatures were pouring out of the doors, attacking on every side. I was fighting desperately to fend them off and not fall to them. (From here forward the what happens was not part of the original dream)
Jesus interprets the dream.
Jesus descends in light and stands facing me, bringing with Him my guardian angels, Peace and Joy. They stand swords drawn but point down in front of them. Their wings spread wide. Somehow encircling us completely with only two of them. The attack stops immediately, and the creatures retreat without a fight. Jesus looks into my eyes and says…
You do not fear these things; you are mine, and these sins and attacks cannot harm you. For My children, those walking with Me, seeking Me, there is no need to fear falling prey to them. Those who do not follow Me are the ones who need to fear the enemy. In laziness and self-indulgence, they choose to seek what they perceive as easy; in greed, they keep everything for themselves, pursuing the lusts of “more”. Denying Me they will die in their rebellion. They break My heart by not honoring their Father, but because I love them, I allow them to choose their path. But you, My son, the defendant of Abraham, My chosen people. You are unaffected by these pits. All who welcome My light receive the authority to rebuke the enemy's attack, to deny his temptations, and command him to flee. Those who kneel before the Father are given His power, the power to overcome, to defeat, to stand strong as pillars set on the foundation I laid. You do not fight to win the war; it has already been won! You fight to subdue the rebellion of those who seek destruction. Where have you ever seen darkness overtake light? No matter how much darkness there is, even the smallest flame overcomes it. If the tiny flame of a candle can repel darkness, how much more can you who carries the Light of the Living God! A light that has no equal, the original light from whom all other light is a mere reflection. You, my child, were wonderfully and fearfully made as a lamp to carry it. Burning so hot that the cold hands of the enemy cannot touch you. You are a son of the King of Kings, His trusted and beloved champion! Fear no evil!

The only reply I could find was to say. But by your grace.
I pray this finds the heart that needs to know who they are in Christ, that it encourages you to stand boldly without fear for our Father. In the name of Jesus, I pray we stand together as one body to represent the love and strength we have been given. Amen.
