I have struggled with feeling that it is too late in my life and I have missed out of years that I could have been walking in a closer way with the Lord. About 3 years ago He showed me a major misunderstanding that I had since my childhood of a particular scripture that had caused me great hurt and a sense of alienation from the Lord. I have had a transforming renewal with the Lord as He took away that misunderstanding and my life with Him has exploded into a beautiful and intimate relationship. But I then struggled that I had 'wasted' time all these years protecting my heart from Him. He has been reassuring me that nothing has been wasted.
I know the Lord wants me to send His words out to the world and I am learning about making a website in order to start my own blog. He asked me to do this about 3 years ago and I am finally in a place to step out to do this. He and I are writing a series of children's stories and He has also given me a book that I am to write for wealthy women. Step by step I am pursuing this call on my life. He told me that writing is the tool He has for me to bring the Kingdom of God to the earth.
Question: What are You wanting me to hear from You this morning?
Answer: “Just as you heard in the teaching this morning, it is time spent in building relationship with Me that will change you, increase you, impact you, teach you, anoint you, mature you, heal you …. there is no other way. You wonder how this man had so much wisdom and presence and presentation. It is all Me. You carry this same anointing to write and speak. Come away with Me in my private place, into My office with Me and receive. I am waiting.”
I say, “Yes, Lord, I am here.”
He responds: “You don’t have to worry and be stressed about ‘learning’ more. All you need is right here with Me. You are not too late – I say it again, you are not too late. Don’t let yourself get so overwhelmed with all there is to learn and read and listen to. Haven’t I led you to the right things at the right time? You don’t have to chase all the “things”. You get so overwhelmed you just shut down. I will set your agenda. Let Me do My work. I will lead you. I will lead you. I will lead you. I will lead you. I truly am a good shepherd. I am kind and gentle but I am strong and I lead the way. Stop looking here and there, left and right, and up and down. Just keep your eyes on Me. I am looking back at you to see if you are following Me. Keep your eyes on Me. I will lead you.”

The Lord said to me earlier today (re: all the knowledge and anointing this man carries that gave the teaching) and my worry that I can never catch up to where I think I should be by now because of the many years of estrangement with God - the Lord said,
“I can make up in one day for a decade of separation. I can fast forward in a blink of My eye. And DO NOT BE DECIEVED. DO NOT BE DECEIVED. Time has not been wasted. You have journeyed far and you have been gathering My riches all of this time.
But now is the time of a great shifting that is taking place. I am moving you to the head of the class. You are not ahead of anyone else, neither are you behind anyone else. You are in a classroom of one. And I sit as your Teacher. But I want you to get up out of your chair in the back of the room and walk forward to the seat in the front row that I have you. I have packed you full and now comes a season of great pouring out. I will lead you in this. I have the circumstances already lined up. So go ahead and be ready to be launched. I have anointed you. It is ‘go time’”.
Hearing God's voice is as simple as:
1) quieting down (Ps. 62:1-5), 2) beholding Jesus at my right hand (Ps. 16:8; Acts 2:25), 3) asking for His revelation and tuning to flowing thoughts and flowing pictures (Jn. 7:37-39; Jer. 2:13), and 4) recording this flow (Hab. 2:1,2; Rev. 1:9-11). I then test it, ensuring it lines up with Scripture (Ps. 1:2; Jn. 10:35; 1 Thess. 5:2;) and is affirmed in the hearts of my three spiritual advisors (2 Cor. 13:1). See this link.
