God spoke to Merlin Cruthers asking him, "Do you want me to heal the sickness or remove the symptoms?"
Merlin pondered and said, "Heal the sickness."
So from that point Merlin only prayed once for healing, and after that, he simply thanked God that the healing had occured. Well thankfullness releases healing power both naturally and supernaturally. Supernaturally, because thankfullness is faith in action, and God honors faith with the flowing of His power.
Thankfullness also puts our bodies in the state of healing, turning off inflamatory genes and turning on immune building genes.
So, lets ask in faith believing and then praise and thank him, and watch Him open up prison doors and set captives free, just as He did Paul and Silos in Acts 16:25,26.
Actually here is the way I suggest we pray for healing. We pray once for healing and since we know healing is the children’s bread, we follow this prayer with thanksgiving that the Lord has answered and healed. If symptoms persist, we ask, “Lord, what is the legal right that the enemy has that allows him to continue to attack me and how would you have me remove this legal ground?” We listen to God’s instructions (flowing thoughts) and act on them. This process continues till all symptoms are gone. Wise spiritual prayer counselors can assist in this process.
