Sometimes I forget to take steps I know I am supposed to take. Sometimes I haven’t been taught what steps to take. Reading a book is not what I desire. I just want to be taken by the hand and led into the experience so I can encounter God’s healing touch. That is what the New Creation Celebration - Possessing Your Promised Land does.

Try it for a week, and experience its transforming impact. Achieving our God-ordained destinies and experiencing spiritual or physical healing is most often a process. I generally need to encounter God more than once on a topic to fully receive and appropriate His promised results. So try this daily for a week and see if things have not changed in your heart and in your life.

In working as a Personal Spiritual Trainer Coach with individuals, I get to read and affirm their journaling. Following is a dialogue I recently had with Patricia, a lady I am coaching as she begins two-way journaling.
Patricia, This is great journaling. Here is what I suggest. Turn the statements into positive, present-tense, confessions, just as David did in the Psalms. For example:
Right now, the amount of dishonor, disdain, demonization and divisiveness amongst people over politics has reached epidemic proportions. Fifty-eight percent of Americans have political opinions they are afraid to share. Wow! So much for freedom of expression and free speech!
Jesus, moved by compassion, healed (Matt. 14:14). I, moved by judgment, don't heal.
What can I learn from Jesus’ teachings about judging which can help me move from my tendency to live in judgment toward myself and others to living like Jesus and expressing compassion? Let’s explore Jesus' words on judging so we can learn to live as Jesus did, Who was moved by compassion and healed.
