What Is the Future of America?

I believe all of us are alarmed at the degradation that is happening to our nation. I believe God wants us to be positive influencers for change at this crucial hour. I know God has spoken to me about making a difference and being a leader, not only spiritually but also politically.

So how can I be a leader politically? One way is to provide some clear teaching and thinking on God and government and our Constitution. So with that in mind we have several blogs we are offering you.

Do you think of a white flag as a flag of surrender? It would be more accurate to describe it as a flag of truce. In military terms it is an appeal for a ceasefire to meet for a parley. The corresponding passage in my word is come and let us reason together.

Do you encounter those who claim to believe the entire Bible and have never been troubled or doubtful about any part of it? Does that make you wonder if they have actually read it? Peter said of the writings of Paul that they were hard to understand even though they were scripture.

Do you ever encounter times when everything seems to go wrong, when minor setbacks cascade together to thwart you and wear you down? This may be more frustrating than a single enormous problem.

There are deceivers and con artists in the world seeking to ensnare you and steal from you. They come to you with ever more devious schemes. Yet my people are not as gullible as those in the world, for they have set their hearts on the things above rather than the things of this world.

My first followers were Jewish and assumed that the gospel of the Kingdom was for the Jews, but my plan was to open the door to whosoever would come. They were familiar with Jewish practices, but I told them that new wine would require new wineskins.
