Do you think that the way you handle money is an indication of your character? You have a limited amount, and so you choose to buy some things and not others. My word says a great deal about money. There are talents and pearls of great price.
You leave footprints wherever you walk. If you are in snow or fresh tilled earth the footprints are obvious, but they are present even on hard paved surfaces even if they are not as easily detectable. In a greater sense you leave footprints in life as well, whether you mean to or not.
Do you wait until you are in a crisis to turn to me and seek me? Do you find that even after neglecting your daily spiritual life that I am still there to answer when you call on me?
I tell you to think on things that are pure and lovely. Do you think it is impossible for thoughts to be sins, unless they result in action? Where is it that you meet with me?

Do you think of me as being the light of the world? But I spoke to an audience of my followers and said, ‘you are the light of the world’. Are you uncomfortable with this concept?
Do you hear churches and fellow believers talk about how to make the gospel message relevant to this generation? This is the wrong question to ask.
Do you keep valuable things in a safe place? What is more valuable to you than water? Yet most people do not need to keep water on hand because they are fortunate enough to have water on tap.
Modern technology has given you a source of information that is easily accessible and seemingly inexhaustible. Everyone else has the same resource. The conventional wisdom of the ages is that knowledge and information are sources of power.
