I had been working on a new song for a week or so, and the words were just not coming easy. I asked the Lord for his help. I loved the melody and the few words that I had, but I was stuck. I felt in my spirit that God said, “go get your journal.” For some reason, I didn’t do it.
How blessed is the man who delights in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season, And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers (Ps. 1:1-3)

Hi my name is Cheryl Bryan and recently when we were speaking at a conference in India I was completely amazed at the anointing an intercessor had on him while he prayed! His name is Sylvainus , he actually was the one who put together the conference. He spends most of his time in prayer and waiting on God! He calls it “sitting in prayer!” He dearly loves the Lord. I was amazed at the deep anointing that I sensed on him as he was praying! I told my husband I’m going to take a picture because his prayer is so moving and so touching my heart that I want to remember the fervency and beauty of the moment!!
A lady just wrote that she began teaching the Prayers That Heal the Heart course, and came under assault of demons. Her relationship with her sister fell apart. She slipped on the ice and got a concussion. She wanted help! I asked her if she had her armor on.
As we explored we discovered, she had unresolved anger and bitterness, so NO, her heart was not covered with the breastplate of LOVE. Parts of her armor were off, so she had a chink in her armor or a break in her hedge of protection, and the serpent was able to strike (Eccl. 10:8 KJV). She went to work praying through her anger and bitterness so her protective armor would be complete.
Many Christians ignore demons entirely, and have never cast out a demon. Other Christians go to the opposite extreme, attributing every pressure in their lives to satan harassing them. What is the biblical balance?
I had a hard time sleeping because I was struggling with answering questions, like, “What exactly is the baptism in the Holy Spirit?” and “How exactly does the gift of tongues fit in?” The Lord impressed me that rather than fuss over exactly when we receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit and whether speaking in tongues is “the evidence,” how about we explore the real issue, “Am I living and walking by the Spirit each and every moment of my day?
