Today I’ve asked my good friend Kari Nicholson to share a powerful dream and how she used the DAESI Dream Work Method to interpret and unpack the revelation with Holy Spirit.
You may remember Kari from the fun Car Lot dream she shared with us previously, or the great videos she posts on our ministry Facebook page of her dreams and interpretations. God’s messages through them are always so encouraging!
Through the amazing testimony below I trust you will be inspired all over again that you, too, can connect with the Wonderful Counselor and receive His heavenly perspective, comfort, wisdom and breakthrough every single night while you sleep. YAY... isn’t that just some of the best news ever?!

Kari’s Custody Battle
This was the first dream I had and interpreted the week I began to listen to Charity’s teachings. Once I heard the teaching on a person’s character trait having meaning in the dream is when the “aha!” moment came of what this meant!
Dream: Scott and I had a child together. We were separated/divorced. He was living in Arizona, and I was in Kansas. There were arguments and distress over who would have our child, when, and how long. I think he had more custody than I did, and I was distressed. And I was concerned our child would not grow up properly.
Action: Arguing, fighting
Emotion: Distress, concern
Setting: My husband Gabriel and I had an argument where I was very forceful in that things needed to be done the way I said they needed to be done. We were very young in our marriage – 10 months married at this time.
Interpretation: Scott is a man I knew from when I lived in Arizona. His main character trait to me is “domineering.”
Arizona is a place I lived for 2 years, and I loved it. I thought I would always live there, and it represents “a place I always want to go back to.”
Kansas represents “where I am now” or “where I moved to.”
The young child represents “my marriage” – very young!
The Lord showed me that I was letting an ungodly character trait of mine, of being very domineering and forceful (Scott), have much more power in my life and I was using it toward my husband in our last argument. The behavior trait was what I was always trying to revert back to (Arizona). It was not serving our marriage and would cause great harm and distress in our marriage (young child) if it did not get dealt with. An end needed to be put to this!
Godly Action: After recognizing the meaning of this dream, I immediately began to weep! I repented to the Lord and to my husband for this behavior and broke off all ties and agreements that I had with this behavior trait. It was a beautiful thing that happened and I was so grateful!
I shared this dream with my small church group soon after and was so ecstatic that I was able to the interpret the dream, as well as have a serious breakthrough in my life that God had just revealed needed to be dealt with!! Praise God!
My husband did not get upset that in the dream I was married to someone else, as we were learning that dreams are usually not literal, but mostly symbolic and represent something else. He, too, was grateful for the interpretation of the dream, as it benefited him how God spoke lovingly to my heart about an area that needed to be adjusted for the betterment of our marriage!
What About You?
I LOVE this testimony. For so many reasons! Yet one of my most favorite takeaways is the fact that this was the very first dream Kari ever interpreted once she started using our interpretation training. Yesssss. It doesn’t have to take 40 years, or even 40 days!
