Do you ever think about your funeral? There is no reason to live with a morbid fixation, but have you been to enough funerals to learn what matters in life? Have you discovered that on the day you die no one cares about how much money you made, or how much fun you had? Yet these things are very highly rated in life. If they don’t matter when you die, then what does? The human connections you make will be broken, but they represent the value of your life, and are the substance for which you will be missed. You can live your life now so as to have a great funeral without turning it into a morbid fixation. Focus now on what really matters.
