As part of our meditation time today with Jesus, my wife Mary and I talked about bad things happening to "good" people. We then asked Jesus for His thoughts on this. Here are our dialogues: Holy Lord Jesus, the "natural" disasters hitting the world, causing people to die, to lose their homes, to suffer great loss. Many are asking: "How can a loving God let this happen to good people?" Lord, how does this fit into your loving people?Ben, it has everything to do with My love for people! I love them so much that I am willing to allow bad things to happen to bring them to Me so that I can shower them with My love and My blessings. You may wonder about people in other nations. Too many of them have rejected Me. They have followed after other gods and have made their own idols. I want them to come to Me in spite of their culture, their backgrounds. Know that My Spirit is calling to each one. Know that I am appearing in dreams and visions to show them that I love them. Know that these are the last days. My Spirit is moving powerfully, and His movement will bring countless ones to Me. What is your part? Do as I have instructed you in the past. Pray that the eyes and ears of their hearts are opened to Me. I told you that this releases heavenly activity to take place. I want all of My people to offer this simple prayer. Though simple, it is powerful, and it does bring results, heavenly results! Here is what Mary received: Mary, I understand your wonderments: The "good" people who are victims of floods (so many this year) and storms with horrendous winds and rain and loss of property, loss of loved ones. The survivors with no place to go - except to Me! You must know (or learn) that there is NO OTHER WAY except to turn to Me!
