Project Afterlife

We are so excited to finally be able to share about the reality show we’ve been invited to be a part of.  It’s called, Project Afterlife, and it premiers August 9^th at 10 PM EST 9 PM Central.  The network is Destination America, a Discovery network.

I’ve just found out that each show will be available on iTunes, Amazon, and Google on Mondays.

We can’t wait to hear all of the testimonies as God touches hearts and lives through this project.  It’s been crazy seeing and experiencing the hand of God cover this whole process.  Here is a portion of the official press release:

Hearing God for Others.  This book is coming along nicely.  I got to share some of its content with a group I was invited to speak to, and the response was very encouraging.  It’s so fun to see eyes light up as revelation hits like a lightning bolt.  I know that God has some very important things to say through this book.  Some of those are:

• Does he still speak?
• Does he want to speak through me?
• I’m not a prophet.  Can this still be for me?
• What gets in the way?
• What’s the point of hearing God for others?
• Why is it important?
• What is it supposed to look like?
• What about timing and interpretation?
• What if I get it wrong?

And more…

It would be nice to have this ready by the end of the year but we’ll see how it goes.

New website and branding.  We’ve been working with an amazing team (Tammy Burk and Holly from The Land of Brand) to overhaul the website and business model/branding to hone in on the message God’s given Kara and I.

After some amazing discussion we are excited that the foundation of our brand/message is the perfect love of God (as it should be).  We feel that God is positioning us to release the message he’s laid on our hearts in ways we haven’t before ie. Increased travel, workshops, virtual classes, etc. 

Please pray for us as we journey through this.  God’s positioned some really great people around us help us navigate these waters but there can still be some anxiety as we look ahead.  I’m still full time at the Fire Department and don’t feel led to leave, but we’re not sure what that might look like in the months ahead.  Pray for wisdom and a sensitive spirit to his direction. 

And…

All of this while juggling normal family life.  We’ll have our oldest in home school this year while our daughter continues at her current school.  Hurley is our newest addition (Labra doodle). 

We are continuing to pray about having another baby.  We invite you to pray for us as we navigate through exciting things we’ve never encountered.  Like most of you, we have many irons in the fire and are constantly seeking God for direction.
