I quiet myself: “I am here, Lord. I ask for vision. Open the eyes of my heart that I may see You. Open the ears of my heart that I may hear You. I am listening. I look for You.”
I sing: “High and lifted up. Shining in the light of Your glory. Pour out Your power and love. I want to see You.”
I am sitting on a hillside with Jesus overlooking the sea of Galilee. The breeze is blowing. It is beautiful and perfect. Jesus is picking grass one blade at a time and twirling it in His fingers. He closes His eyes and tilts His head back to allow the sun to shine directly on His face. The breeze gently blows. I look at Him. He looks at me. Our gaze locks. He smiles. I smile. He reaches out and gently moves a piece of hair out of my eyes.
[I talk with the Lord about a dream I had. He doesn’t answer my questions about the dream. Instead, here is what transpired.]
My Lord speaks: “You are My daughter in whom I am well pleased. I delight in you. I love your passion and your enthusiasm. You bring a smile to My face. Every time I see you, I smile. I love hearing you tell stories of Me and sharing our encounters with others. Others see Me in you and hunger and thirst for Me. I am using you to draw others. I love your excitement over the dreams I am giving you. This is just the beginning, My beloved. I have so many things to show you. I have so much to tell you about My love, My plans for you, about My Kingdom. I love sharing love with you. I love being with you. I love walking and talking with you each day. I want to show you everything. Your excitement is contagious. When you rejoice, I rejoice with you. When you rejoice over one encounter with Me, I only want to spend more time with you. You rejoice over one dream, and I want to give you many. Your grateful heart tugs at Mine. I am opening the windows of heaven over you and your life. Not only will you see in the Spirit. I will take you with Me to heaven and show you the plans for My Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. My Father and I have it all planned out. You and [your husband] are a part of what We are building on earth as it is in heaven. We need your partnership. The more you come to Us, the more We will reveal to you. The fellowship you and I share together cultivates My garden. The garden I am planting for you on earth as it is in heaven. I am your provider. I will give you everything you ask for. All you have to do is but ask.”
“I ask for favor with [name]. I am not sure what the future holds with […]. What do You have for me there, Lord?”
“I have you right where I want you. I need you to be My hands and feet. To love them. To stand in the gap for them. To express My heart to them. To draw them back to Me. I desire fellowship and intimacy with them, as much as I desire fellowship and intimacy with you and [your husband]. They are as much a part of My plans as you and [your husband] are. I love them with an everlasting love. It breaks My heart when My beloved children go their own way. But there is nothing I cannot redeem. I am tireless in My pursuit of those I love. Do not grow weary in doing good.”
“I want [name] to be safe. I'm concerned about […]. I want [names] to be at peace. I am concerned for their hearts and their health.”
“Do you trust Me?”
“Yes, Lord. I trust You.”
“I am at work. I know your heart. Do you know Mine?”
“Yes, Lord. You are good. Always. You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called to Your purpose.”
“Yes. I have called [name]. I love [names]. I am at work. I am calling them to return to Me, to return to the One who loves them. My heart is always for restoration and reconciliation, freedom and deliverance. This is My heart. You can trust me. I will keep [name] safe. You can trust Me. I will keep […] strong. They are persevering in their love for [name]. I am restructuring some things in their lives that needed to be restructured that I can move more fully. This is all a part of My perfect plan to bless them and give them a hope and a future. I am at work.”
[I speak with the Lord about my business.]
“I am building your team. In your team My Kingdom will come and My will will be done on earth as it is in heaven. You can trust Me. I am bringing the right people alongside you. What I build cannot be shaken. What I establish cannot be moved. You can trust Me. I have a plan. I am giving you a future and a hope.”
“What about blogging, Lord? Is that what You would have me do?”
“I am releasing you into your destiny. Your purpose. The purpose I created you to fulfill for My Kingdom. You are My heir. You and I will co-labor.”
“Show me what You would have me do next, Lord. I want to do what You're doing, agree with what You're doing. Speak what You're speaking.”
“Much of what I am showing you is for you to give away. You see things others do not see. I have given you the gift of discernment and dream interpretation. I have anointed your eyes to see – to see Me. To see in the Spirit. To see what I am doing. I have you right where I want you.”
We are lying on our backs together in the grass. Jesus takes my hand. I am with My Savior. He is the Lover of my soul. In His presence is perfect peace. He is the Prince of Peace. And He loves me. He turns to me. He puts His forehead on mine. (I do this with my children.) I close my eyes, our foreheads are still touching. I smell His fragrance. He is love. He is alive. He loves me. I hear His heartbeat. With every beat of His heart, His truth resonates in my Spirit. He is love. He is alive. He loves me. He has me right where He wants me. I am His. He is mine.
